What is Dysport?

Dysport is a prescription injectable treatment made from botulinum toxin type A, used to temporarily relax muscles. It works by blocking the signals between nerves and muscles, which reduces muscle activity. This helps to smooth out dynamic wrinkles (like frown lines and crow’s feet) and can also relieve conditions such as TMJ pain, bruxism (teeth grinding), and gummy smiles. Effects typically appear within a few days and last around 3–4 months.
